About Seriti Resources Holdings
Today, we face bigger energy challenges than ever before as climate change realities impact the nature of the energy mixes of countries around the world. In South Africa alone, we are looking to renewable sources of energy, as evidenced by the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP).
As a broad-based, 90% black-owned and controlled South African energy business, underpinned by coal, Seriti Resources Holdings can and must play a key role in tackling these challenges, and is committed to doing so through a Just Energy Transition.
The establishment of Seriti Green, and the announcement of the acquisition of Windlab Africa marked Seriti Resources Holdings’ commitment to being a diversified energy company that is fully conscious of the need to shift through a Just Energy Transition to wind, solar and other forms of renewable energy, including hydro energy in the future.
